Seniors in various sectors are leaving their posts almost every day. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon is still in charge. However, he is willing to resign.
A BCB source on condition of anonymity told the media on Thursday (August 15).
Papon has been in the top position of BCB since 2012.
During the last Awami League government, he was responsible for the Ministry of Youth and Sports. However, after the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, the National Parliament was dissolved. In this, Papon also lost his MP post. He has not been found since August 5. Now it was heard that he has agreed to resign.
According to the source of BCB, Papon has agreed to leave his post for reforms in BCB. According to the constitution, he has to submit his resignation letter in writing, later it will be approved in the BCB meeting. The meeting will be called once the BCB president officially sends his resignation.
